Our Full Body Imaging program includes all of the procedures listed below:

MRI of the Head
Provides detailed images of the brain and its structures to diagnose conditions like tumors, stroke, bleeding, and swelling. It can also show infections, inflammation, structural abnormalities, and problems with blood vessels. The scan can also investigate symptoms like headaches and dizziness.
MRA of the Head

A specialized type of MRI to create detailed 3D images of the blood vessels in your brain. It can diagnose problems like blood clots, aneurysms, or blockages in the arteries and veins of the brain.
CT Scan of the Chest

An imaging test that creates detailed images of the lungs, heart, airways and other structures of the chest. It can detect lung cancer, pneumonia, blood clot in the lungs, heart disease, aortic aneurysm, lymphoma, as well as other conditions.
CT Scan of the Abdomen

An imaging test that creates detailed images and detect abnormalities in the liver, spleen, kidneys, pancreas, gallbladder, intestines, and the abdominal aorta. Can diagnose various sources of abdominal pain, digestive problems, tumors, infections, obstructions, and injuries.
CT Scan of the Pelvis

An imaging test that creates detailed images of the organs, bones, blood vessels and soft tissues in the area between the hip bones, including the bladder, reproductive organs, lower intestines, and lymph nodes, Can detect appendicitis, diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease, bladder stones, etc.
CT Coronary Calcium Scoring

An imaging test that can assess the amount of calcium/plaque buildup in the coronary arteries (the main arteries that supply blood to the heart). This test can predict the risk of developing coronary artery disease, a leading cause of heart attacks.
CT Bone Densitometry

An imaging test that measures the mineral density of the bones. This test helps to diagnose osteoporosis, a condition that weakens the bones and increases the risk of fracture.
Peripheral Artery Disease Screening

Peripheral Artery Disease occurs when atherosclerosis (plaque build-up) occurs in the legs. This is an indication of the presence of plaque throughout the cardiovascular system and increases the risk of heart attack by 200-400%.
Thyroid Ultrasound

The thyroid is an endocrine gland located in the neck which controls your body's metabolism. The thyroid ultrasound screening evaluates the lobes of the gland as well as the isthmus. The scan is able to detect nodules, cysts, and tumors of the thyroid and surrounding area.
Carotid Artery Ultrasound

Color Doppler Ultrasound is used to identify plaque build-up, blood clots, and other obstructions that increase the risk of a stroke. Studies have shown that those with atherosclerosis (plaque build-up) in the carotid arteries are not only at a higher risk for stroke, but also a higher risk of coronary heart disease.
Full Body Imaging Cost = $3900.00 USD
Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Why not just do a Full Body or Whole Body MRI?
Answer: Simply put, "FULL BODY" or "WHOLE BODY MRI" is a wonderful marketing term that unfortunately can give patients a false sense of security. Even though MRI is a great imaging modality, it is not good at looking at everything in the human body. There is currently no "magical" imaging machine that can detect all medical conditions. That is why we have chosen the imaging modalities that are best equipped to look at each segment of the body and will give us the best information possible.
Question: How long does the entire procedure take?
Answer: We can generally complete all of the scans in the Full Body Imaging program within 4-5 hours.
Question: Where do I go to get the Full Body imaging done?
Answer: We do all the imaging at an outpatient imaging center in Fargo, North Dakota
Question: Does it require an overnight stay in Fargo?
Answer: Generally yes, since the imaging usually starts between 8:00-8:30am. You can drive home once your testing is complete.
Question: When and how do I get the results?
Answer: You will receive a flash drive or CD with all the images and data at the end of your last imaging exam. You will receive your results via email usually within 3-5 business days. You will also receive a hardcopy of your results in the mail.
